A great looking and performing (for what it's supposed to do) netbook for a great price.
I don't have this exact model but I have the same one with a solid state disk in it and Windows XP Professional loaded. It's an excellent notebook for what it's meant to perform, the battery life is exquisite and it functions as an Internet/word processing machine perfectly. Just the other night I typed a 3 page paper on it and the slightly smaller than standard keyboard did not bother me a bit. One problem with the keyboard is the right shift key which is on the far side of the arrow keys, if you try an use it then you'll most likely hit the arrow key and end up typing in the wrong spot. I haven't had a problem training myself to not use the right shift key though. Also, this minor problem seems to have been fixed in the 1000HE so if you think that'll bother you then there is an alternative EEE.
Excellent netbook and highly recommended to anybody who wants ultra portability, extremely long battery life, and all for an excellent price.
